Poco was launched as a Xiaomi brand back in 2018, swiftly gaining popularity thanks to its first smartphone – the Poco F1 – which offered top of the line specifications at an affordable price. Poco was separated into an independent brand by the Chinese electronics giant in 2020, before the launch of its second phone.
Poco’s latest mobile launch is the M3. The smartphone was launched in 24th November 2020. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels at a PPI of 395 pixels per inch.
The Poco M3 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco M3 packs a 48-megapixel (f/1.79, 0.8-micron) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.75-micron) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.75-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Poco M3 runs Android 10 and is powered by a 6000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.30 x 77.30 x 9.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 197.00 grams.
The Poco M3 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Infrared, USB Type-C, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
