When the POCO F2 Pro became official in the Philippines with a Php 26,990 SRP (for the 6GB/128GB variant), a number of POCO fans were dismayed at the price considering its predecessor—the Pocophone F1—launched in the Philippines with a Php 17,990 price tag.
POCO F2 Pro Review: Still Slaying Flagships
It has been almost 4 months since the POCO F2 Pro arrived in the Philippines, and with the Mi 10T series‘ local price and availability set to be announced on October 15, Xiaomi is giving the POCO F2 Pro aggressive price cuts. Recently, Revu spotted a new promo listing for the POCO F2 Pro at Xiaomi’s official store in Lazada, with a new price of Php 18,990 for the 6GB/128GB model. That’s Php 8k off the original price and just Php 1k cheaper than the Pocophone F1’s launch price for the same RAM/storage variant.
The official listing is not yet updated with the new price, so Xiaomi might be holding another flash sale for the POCO F2 Pro’s crazy new low price. At under Php 19k, the POCO F2 Pro is the most affordable phone with a 2020 flagship Snapdragon 865 processor on board. It is a true flagship killer with features like an AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, 4700mAh battery with 30w wired charging, and a quad-rear camera setup led by a 64-megapixel IMX686 main camera with OIS.
